A start of season noticed

Official launch of the World Rally Championship 2016, the 84th Rallye Monte-Carlo was also marked by the starts of Eric Camilli and Nicolas Klinger in WRC within the team M-Sport World Rally Team. Despite a beginning of racing synonymous of performance, the french mens are forced to give up in the sixth stage during the second day.

Disputed in the hills above Monaco, the final day of the 84th Rallye Monte Carlo saw no significant changes to the overall standings. Stéphane Lefebvre and Gabin Moreau provided further evidence of their progress as they secured fifth place overall. It was their best result to date in the World Rally Championship.

The Abu Dhabi Total WRT has entered two cars at the Rallye Monte-Carlo (21-24 January), the opening round of the 2016 World Rally Championship. Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle and Stéphane Lefebvre/Gabin Moreau will have to meet the combined challenge of Monte’s demanding course and the typically wintry conditions that are expected at the event.
