Fast Finn Max Vatanen set some blistering times on last weekend’s Wales Rally GB. He and co-driver Jacques-Julien Renucci finished second in their class on the final round of the World Rally Championship.

After finishing third in Monte-Carlo and Finland, the Norwegian Ole Christian Veiby claimed his maiden win in the FIA Junior WRC at Wales Rally GB.

 
Citroën Racing finishes second in the world championship

The Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team secured second place in the manufacturers’ standings after Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle finished as runners-up and Mads Østberg/Jonas Andersson were seventh overall at Wales Rally GB.

Ole Christian Veiby (19) wrote motorsport history when he crossed the finish line on the last stage at Wales Rally GB. He won the rally, secured second place in the FIA Junior World Rally Championship and was also the first one ever to finish among the top three in both the Junior WRC and the European Rallycross Championship during the same season.
